“Parenting with Self-Reflection and Intention”
How to Raise Emotionally Healthy Children
Every interaction with your child is an opportunity to teach a new skill
to replace a challenging behavior.
A two part workshop series for parents of children ages 4 to 7.
In this workshop you will find solutions to address challenging behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, yelling and refusing to listen. You will have the opportunity to explore the behaviors that are especially triggering for you. You will explore what messages you received as a child from your parents about expectations around behavior and beliefs about what a certain behavior means. You will also explore what messages your parents passed to you about how to express your emotions and how to respond to your child’s emotions as well as how to communicate your needs. All of these patterns play a role in how you currently respond to your child’s behaviors, and how your child responds to you. We will learn how to give our children healthy tools to express their emotions and communicate their needs, transforming their challenging behaviors into positive skills.
